About Ottawa Pole Fitness

Established in 2008, we are Ottawa's premiere pole fitness studio located at 1066 Somerset Street West, just minutes from downtown. We have two beautiful, spacious studios with over 2000 square feet and a total of 16 competition grade 45mm spinning/static X-poles. Studio A on the main level has 6 poles for small group classes and six Aerial Silks and Hoops for group classes. Studio B on the lower level is our larger space; it has 10 poles where we host workshops and parties. Both studios have vibrant colours, wall-to-wall mirrors, intimate lighting, free WiFi and are perfect to work-out in a fun studio environment.

Pole dancing is a fantastic way to lose weight, improve muscle tone, enhance flexibility and coordination, increase core strength, and build endurance while increasing one's self-esteem. Anyone can learn pole dancing regardless of age, size, or athletic background.

We offer a high energy, sexy and fun environment for people who are tired of trudging along on a treadmill or pushing weights in a gym. Our goal is to inspire, motivate and empower students to feel at ease and comfortable. We offer this to you in a fun, safe, supportive and a non-judgmental environment. Although most of our clientele is female our classes are open to both men and women.

Our classes are designed to suit all types of students from beginners to advanced levels. Pole fitness classes are 6-weeks in length, and consist of a weekly 1-hour session of professional hands-on instruction combined with warm-up and cool down.

Students in session can come to free daily practice. The instructors lead a course schedule of weekly moves that incorporate turns, lifts, non-weight bearing maneuvers and combinations, so each student gains strength, flexibility and confidence to their desired level. On completion of each session students can progress to the next level.

We also have Aerial Hoop and Silks classes for students who are interested in aerial fitness or cross-training for pole fitness. A variety of workshops such as; Chair Dance, Twertshop, Flexibility, Sexy floorwork, Handstand and many more are frequently scheduled. We host special Events including an annual student showcase and studio photoshoots. The most popular events are Pole Parties for Bachelorette, Birthday and Girl's night out etc. which can be easily booked online.
